My apologies

Sorry I was not able to update my work in progress last Wednesday. The first thing I typically do when I get up is hit the power button on my computer to let it get warmed up while I get coffee. That morning all I got was a thunk. I tried again, still nothing. I had been sort of expecting this to happen, after all it was a cheap system that I’d had for nearly seven years,and it had done it’s job well in that time. I don’t need anything fancy.

I did have some of my work backed up on thumb drives, I’m an old salt and I don’t trust the cloud. But not everything. After several times of failing to get it started I got on my phone and ordered a new computer. It came Friday and I spent an aggravating weekend getting it set up.

It would appear I’m back now and will, barring any further complications, return to my normal posting schedule.
